Alberto Azzolini born in Verona in 1998 began his studies of the bass tuba at the age of ten thanks to the courses organized by the "Local school band of Dolce' " Verona.
Following this positive experience he entered the conservatory in Verona "E.F.Dall' Abaco "receiving his diploma in 2011 with the maximum full honour certificate, under the guide of maestro Giovanni Gatti. At the same time he attended some courses specializing in "bass brasses" organized by the school of music of Fiesole Florence, held by maestro Robert Tucci and David Le Clair.Completing his studies in Verona giving a concert as solist ( with other talented students of the conservatory Dell'Abaco accompanied by the orchestra Arena di Verona.
After his scientific high school diploma he followed courses and master classes with Roger Bobo, Gene Pokorny, David Le Clair, Robert Tucci, Alessandro Fossi, Mario Barsotti, Stefano Ammanati, Steven Mead, Michael Pircher, Rex Martin, Roland Szentpali, Øyestein Baadsvik, Hidehiro Fujita.
In 2011 he entered the Hochschule Musik -Basel (CH) he attended a two year specialization in bass tuba "Master of Music Performance "under the guide of maestro Davi Le Clair receiving his diploma in the winter of 2013.
He also worked as freelancer with some professional Italian orchestras"Orchestra del Gran Teatro La Fenice ,Orchestra del Teatro dell'Opera di Roma ,Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico Vicenza ,Orchestra del Teatro Regio di Parma ,Orchestra da Camera di Padova ,Orchestra Verdi di Milano .
In May 2012 he was one of the three finalists for the role of bass tuba in the Orchestra del Teatro dell'Opera di Roma .
