Loris Antiga is one of today's most succesful horn players in Italy.He has performed with the world's greatest orchestras, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and has been chosen by Maestro Claudio Abbado to collaborate in the project of the Mozart Orchestra.
Following the footsteps of his close friend Alessio Allegrini,founder member of the Human Rights Orchestra.On finishing his studies in Italy under the vigilant and proffesional eye of Maestro Guido Corti, he continued his intense studies improving and specializing his musical aptitudes in Chicago with Maestro Dale Clevenger and Maestro Arnold Jacobs.
He has performed as first horn player with the Teatro alla Scala, the Filarmonica della Scala, the Orchestra Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Orchestra Svizzera Italiana.
Since 2001 he is member of the Fenice Theatre Venice, performing as third /first horn.Particularly fascinated by chamber music he has been invited to numerous Festivals, Lione, Pisa, Stresa, Lugano, Ravello.Regularly holds master classes worldwide, Japan, Brazil, U.S.A., China, Spain.
Is accustomed to receiving invitations as solist from Japan and U.S.A..
